We took second billing on Match of the Day, and I'm sure I heard Mark Lawrenson say we have only been outplayed in 30 minutes of our first 450 minutes of Premier League football and that was against a special Man City side and we have still maintained our desire to play the creative Swansea way. 5 games in and 12th in the table, we have only lost in away games against what we considered BIG 5 opposition prior to promotion and one of those losses was to a freak occurence. The other games have all been the famous 6 pointers, and I would take 2 draws and a win against teams that in Brendans word's "are probably in the second and third tier of the Prem, whereas we have created a 4th tier" any time! All in all...take out the big 5 games and we have an average of 1.66667 points per game. That leaves 28 games against tier 2, 3 and 4 types which at this average gives us 46.66667 points. Not bad for a team on a shoestring finding their feet. C'MON YOU SWANS.....KICK ON
Lawro was very complimentary and it's a shame that others saw fit to pick him up on his slip of the tongue (quickly corrected) about us scoring the first goal outside the UK. Lol. I may be in a minority but I find the pundits generally quite good on MOTD. Shearer has also been criticised but his analysis is usually spot on. Have noticed some sarcastic comments from Lineker before Saturday's result, though. Nothing to do with his wife being a blueturd?
Haha is she? I can't wait to see MOTD boys, I'll be honest. Apart from seeing the Swans play in person in the Premiership, seeing the boys on BBC is going to bring it home a bit more too. So far the only game I've managed to see any of is the Man City one, and occasional bursts of action when live streaming decided to work. Possibly the most frustrated I've ever been with both the internet, and living out here, I'll be honest! Agree with the thread though, plenty of reasons to be cheerful! There's a whole lot of teams in this division we can beat, here's hoping the boys do us proud for the rest of the season.
The internet in the dive centre is a sim card in a box, and generally there's at least 3 of us on it. Luckily, forums are very "easy loading" in that they're mostly just text, but lots of websites are pretty much no-go's because the internet just can't hack it. I hope you guys all appreciate your broadband!
