I was initially unsure whether to post this as I am unsure, but I'm starting to get the feeling that Tettey is in the mould of Yaya Toure, a player I really admire.

Admittedly, Tettey will never reach the same standards of Toure as he didn't learn at the Barcelona youth academy. But their style of play is v similar; able to defend, attack, break down the opposition and run the midfield.

Both can changes games. Manchester City scored four of their six goals last season against us after Toure came on. While Tettey changed the game when coming on against Liverpool earlier this season, although by the time he came on the game was over he helped us get two goals.

I think Tettey is more of a terrier that accelerates to the ball, Toure relies more on power in the tackle and when running with the ball.
