All we can do is to keep getting points from each and every game which will be a major quest. If we can keep up a good run of form and hope the others in the mix falter then we have a chance, but if over the next 5 games we fail to get serious points then we are in a whole lot of trouble.

We must not be in the bottom 3 by the middle of March and if we are then relegation looms especially as you run out of matches. In my opinion it is still touch and go for us to survive.

This is all ifs, buts and maybes - As Mike said, lets concentrate on keeping our house in order and collect as many points as possible. If we play well, earn loads of points and still go down then so be it - at least we gave it our best shot and life in League One would look an awful lot brighter with SOD at the helm.

All I want to see are fighting displays from here on in. Before SOD came in I was resigned to relegation and now I have a little bit of optimism.

If we can just hang in there - if you look at the fixtures in April, 4 of the 6 games are at home

    if?
    buts?
    maybe's?

    ..NAILED IT
    INVER

Points from the next 5? I would not be happy with less than 7 OVERJOYED at more than 9

I too noticed that in April 4 of our 6 games are at home but let's hope by then it isn't too late. If we are out of the bottom 3 by April 1st then our chances are better than 50/50 but if we are still down there then our possibilty of being relegated are obviously higher.

My prediction would be that if we are still in the bottom 3 at the start of April, without being too far off the pace, we would then need to win 3 of our home games that month.

Pure conjecture at this point but as the fixture list gets shorter our chances will become more evident ,and let's just hope we can keep racking up the points and put guessing out of the picture altogether.

racking up the points is what it is all about 15 games 5 w 5 d 5 L would equal 51 pts, that may be enough, but as I posted elsewhere this season there is a greater number of points on the board due to the drawn games only representing 25% of those played so far as opposed to roughly 30% last season.

In a squence of 12 games w4 d4 L 4 = 16 points however w6 d0 L6 it equals 18pts does not seem a lot 2 pts, but that can be staying up going up or getting relegated, its like goal difference tat can be a decider as that is close so better should we actually lose a game we do it 4-3 as opposed to 1-0

If we can make Ashton Gate a fortress again that will help it has been our p1ss poor performances at home resulting in 8 home defeats that has left us in the hole we are now in.

7 home wins and a few points away from the Gate starting with 3 against Palarse would go down very nicely Thank You
