So, after leaking to my Sky source that Colin has approached Forest to sign Blackstock, I thought it appropriate to start an ITK thread, where all those who are ITK can happily post their scoops/knowledge/info for all of us to share I am sure we all look forward to some amazing revelations!!
Leeds decided to sell Becchio in December to fund Warnock. However, to do so Lucky had to hand in a transfer request, thereby waiving his rights to a selling fee which he would get if he was sold agsinst his wishes. To get Lucky to this point, Leeds went out and attracted enquiries for the player with clubs that would up his salary significantly, whilst refusing to increase Lucky's pay at Leeds. Once the player understood Leeds wanted him to go, he had no option but to hand in a transfer request, and do give up a slice of money to help fund a move away. Very sad, and yet the clib continues with its policy of painting the player as greedy and not thinking in terms of the club. The consistent link in history repeating itself is on Shaun Harvey. The fee Leeds will settle for is up to £1.5m but not below £1.2m - FOR NOW!!
Gary Cooper will be making a statement later today, where he will inform us that it was Luciano who spoke to him in the summer complaining that the players were upset by what was happening at the club ...... He will also tell calender that GFH have approached him to ask him to help with the teams dietary requirements. He will be only too happy to help the team, but will do nothing unless he gets an apology from Bates
