Thanks to one man - Tony Pulis, I know for a fact that he reads the posts on this forum and is bitterly hurt that the fans seem to have turned against him. The man is a legend in the North East, with many Sunderland fans singing his praises from the rooftops, for taking all of their rubbish players down to the Potteries, nobody else could see the potential of a certain Mr Delap and how he terrorises defences, both here and in Europe, learning how to throw a ball in a brand new trajectory takes time at his age, so be please be patient. Don't forget, Pulis has NEVER been relegated, and we will not be so this season, you lot go on and on about keeping the faith, well for goodness sake, keep the faith in Tony, in Pulis we trust. Every team has a bad patch, or blip, fair play, ours has been going on for approximately 3 seasons, just a blip I say. We are a profitable club, well run and a credit to everybody concerned, it matters not what other club's supporters think about us, although I must say that some of you sound like closet Crewe or Port Vale fans. Rome was not built in a day, remember the 3 year plan, all is going according to THAT plan, in fact it is going SO well, it has been extended for another 3 years. I think calling the lot of us gloryhunters is unfair! I am no glory hunter, iv been going Stoke since i was about 5 and iv seen how we have developed! But pulis needs to change things up, try some passing drills in training and play palacios!!
I cant fathom what the op is trying to achieve, so I can only assume he/she is a WUM! Many of the more vocal fans appear to have been long time fans and certainly preceed the last year of the championship, hence would surley void any theory of Glory Hunter. The FA Cup run and hence Europe by defaults has been discussed to death. The team did a fantastic job in a very favourable draw, and ultimtaley got the results that would have been expected given the money invested. I doubt TP reads any fan feedback, he has been very vocal in both the press and media slaming any kind critiscism, constructive or not. No Comment. Relegation is not stat that you should be measured on. Squad value and results are. TP has also been dismissed from several positions when the club has been at the lower end of the relevant league.
