Hello Northenders As I've previously stated, I'm not very good at putting my thoughts into words and as things are a little bit slow on here I thought I'd mix my other passion as a musician with that of PNE. Maclad did a superb written series of articles about our time in the Championship, I couldn't possibly do anything like that to compare...in fact I'd still be writing it now...it inspired me to do something a little different, so I've spent the last week or so composing and recording a bit of music (no vocals, I can't sing to save my life...some of you may say I can't play an instrument either!) Anyway, it's done and I've put it together with a few North End pics to remember our years in there, I'm hoping that it can put maclads words into vision and sound and compliment his written work. You may not like the music so there's a volume slide on the youtube app! For non Northenders who like the music but not the pics, just close your eyes and listen, and for people that like neither, then there's a little cross in the top right hand corner of the page that closes the link! Hope you all enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JESdr40_JXc
lilywhite forever... Firstly I feel that I should point out an error in your above post. Far from not being very good at putting your thoughts into words, you are in fact a first rate poster. In fact your contributions are at least the equal of any others I have seen. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and hearing what you have put together via the link. Superbly done and have no fears the music is well worth a listen with or without an accompanying voice. Must have taken you a while to put it all together so many thanks for taking the time to provide interest and entertainment particularly for Northenders. Your next step. Compose some music (enlist some help if necessary for the words) and put together a rousing new song for the Norhenders to sing on match days.. Great effort and well done.
Plumbs As always, thank you for your kind words and your comments about the vid/ music Flattered indeed! I think that's a great idea of yours to compose something for the new season, it'll give me something to do and think about during the summer...and yep, I'll need a singer for sure as I can't even whistle I'd better get started then!
