...with the absence of 3 first team players, (4 if you count Mane), but this season is so different. Firstly, there is the togetherness and spirit in the squad, they all fight for one another and play wherever they are asked to. Secondly, there is RK's tactical nous and his reading of the game, you always feel that we are in the game and the organization never changes with different personnel. Thirdly, there is the performances of our academy products, every one of them look comfortable when they are called to play which is credit to their coaching from an early age. I've never been so fully confident in a Saints team to perform and get results and I look forward to every single game now....COYS!
Well said SA! The point about them working for each other was made by just about every pundit following the Man U game, and I've hardly seen a game this season where Plan B wasn't brought out when necessary. And JWP will finally score tomorrow, you heard it here first.
I have confidence in the team (though prefer it to be our strongest team) and I have real belief in Koeman, but any team can lose. My confidence is that we will do well over the whole season.
This is what happens when you bring through your youngsters. We can rely on Reed and JWP to do their best and, even if Saints get beaten, Newcastle will know they've been in a match.
