In Praise Of McNally D

Bowkett does his bit and Chris Hughton too
And the players all play their part,
And Delia and Michael and Michael, all who
Have helped to put cash in the cart

But behind them all stands the one driving force
His hand on the rudder so firm,
Planning and plotting and keeping our course
He aims to be with us long term

And although his seven year plan took a hit
When we did it only in two,
No chance of him putting his feet up, to sit
He´ll always find more work to do

And that´s what I like about this rugged man
No grass will grow under his feet,
No stone is unturned when this Canary fan
Sets new targets for us to beat

With Colney becoming quite ´state of the art´
And debts now a thing of the past,
The McNally fingerprint´s clearly a part
Of what will help this great club last

So this little ode is written with respect
And in praise of McNally D,
One of the Premier League CEO´s elect
And the busiest green and yellow bee. OTBC

RBF - your talents always seem to 'turn up trumps' and 'hit the nail [squarely] on the head!!!! I really don't see him selling our most valuable assetss, as his predecessor would MOST certainly have done. I'd almost guarantee that Ruddy. Snodddy, Bassong, Pilks and Johnson would no longer be playing for NCFC!!

 

Not at all Dave, in fact it was reading his question and answer session with the fans that got me thinking.

 

Very likely JR, Doomcaster very often took the short term view of things, rather than looking long term at the bigger picture.
