At his press conference today Jol took time to sing the praises of the owner, and perhaps at the same time justify some of his own decisions? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/martin-jol-praises-fulham-chairman-mohamed-al-fayed-7440347.html One thing I've come to understand about Jol's pre-match comments is that he focuses on a single issue which is 'taxing' him at that particular time. For example he'd sound off about Etuhu's attitude on the Thursday and play him on the Saturday. Has MAF been questioning the signing of Ruiz this week (note the playing down of the signining on fee by Jol in the article)? Or does it simply mean that Ruiz will definitely start against QPR?
Praising your boss in public is certainly a good move whatever point he is trying to make! And who are we to disagree with the plaudits?!
