    we have sold out our 27k allocation for our league cup clash v Man U ‘B’ team.

    Arsenal are suffering the lowest crowd ever in their clash against Bate Borisov of Belarus in the UEFA competition - only 44k there tonight.

    Gets it in perspective a bit - for me.

    just said on the TV,

    "although Arsenal are claiming 44k tonight, we are reliably informed it is less than 30k in the ground"

    Sounds like what we used to in reverse ! Which was to declare an attendance of 11,000 when there was clearly 15,000 or more in the ground. I wonder where all those gate receipts went ?

    Where are the 25K crowds we were expecting? Has the wet weather shrunk the stadium or can we expect a record attendance for the Man Utd game? Creative accounting?

    We should have a full house for Man U of 26k or more I would have thought Mike, given it's a sellout

    Sometimes I notice a difference between the projected (sellout) crowd and the actual attendance. Just wish I could be there and can't even guarantee the game will be on the telly over here, but checking all the schedules every day and hope it will appear on Bein Sports for which I will have to buy a subscription - but for this game anything goes.
