Spurs were crushed by Man City and Man U held at Cardiff leaving them 7 points adrift from the top. Southampton remain in top 5! Its a funny season isn't it?

Man City looked unstoppable yesterday. Tottenham are not a bad team and I think they'd only given up 6 EPL goals so far this season before Sunday's game. I'm looking forward to ManC v Arsenal in mid December.

The only silver lining so far this season is that we have scored more goals than both Spurs and West Ham (9 each to our 11).

And several of Spurs have been from the spot rather than open play.

I thought Spurs would content for a top 5 spot this year, after Bale was sold and the new players brought in. But it's been a strange season so far. I never would have guessed that Arsenal would be transformed (arguably) by Ozil and that Liverpool would be sitting above ManC, ManU and Chelsea at this point in the season.

Start of the seasons, I would have guessed the table would look like this:
    ManC
    ManU
    Chelsea
    Tottenham
    Liverpool
    Arsenal
    Everton

To me, this is why the EPL is the best football league in the world. In almost every other league (save, maybe, the Bundesliga), you can almost always guess the who the top two teams will be at the end of the season.
