It was the FA Membership Committee that unanimously rejected it and recommended the full FA did the same. Our owners can't appeal so we'll still be called Hull City AFC next season. But i'm sure it hasn't ended yet.
10,000 didn't vote because of the way the questions were formed. Everyone was expecting a simple yes or no vote but the Allams edged it as a vote for them. The ballot was too late to be considered in todays FA vote.
Cheers. Yeah only really saw the headline and a brief paragraph of it, to say the least I was surprised. My first thought was that it was due to them been blackmailed saying its the name change else he's off. Guess we will see if he is true to his word.
Ehhhh Rover... 10k didn't vote because they couldn't be arsed. Very few fans care about the name change... Those who voted supported the change and the owners plans.....I voted yes, because the chairman put his hand into his pocket and pulled out £80 million to save the club from doing a Pompey and in doing so give us a premiership team.
About 3.5k were actively for it out of 15k odd eligible. That's the way the FA should look at it. Allam should have to prove a majority of the fans actively want the change. Which they don't.
