It's a leap year and we are enjoy that rare thing a 29th February. So had your other (Or were your other to) half proposed to you on your first leap year together would you have leaped in? Or leaped out? I'd have leaped out! took me 9 years to be worn down to propose to Mrs Melchett, not quite sure even as a now married man that I saw the point in it all. Made her happy but the changes have been minimal in the grander scheme of things! Bah!
Surely we should all get a days extra pay? Can't speak for anyone else but my pay for this month is the same as last year
You didn't answer the question! My pay is basically the same. I got a modest pay rise but because of government changes to pensions and the company scheme getting less NI relief, I have to pay more in for less the Bastards Bah!
There are still 251 working days this year, same as last year, so we'll actually get an extra weekend day.
I wonder if this thread might have got a few more replies if it had been about a different in/out discussion? Bah!
Comrade General, The 29th Feb is filthy, capitalist day, purely geared towards the needs of the 1%. For example, banks don't count the 29th Feb towards customer interest. It's a capitalist conspiracy. FACT. Furthermore, women should be free to propose to men whenever they wish. 29th Feb reinforces the patriarchy.
I have more debt than savings so that might be a good thing, well at least till I've paid off that pesky mortgage! Bah!
