A few bulletpoints: 1. Europa League seems to have an aura that we like. 2. Slow start in PL and a few are getting uneasy with Jol and transfers. 3. Still in need of RB, CF and a midfielder for Murphy's gradual replacement. We are all awaiting the last two days to see what's in the transfer Market fir us. And welcome back!

1) Dnipro game at home 3-0 up before Dnipro put us under pressure in the last 15 mins trying to get an away goal - luckily they didn't get one. 2) Aston Villa shaded the 1st half, but only Given kept us out in the 2nd half, and Zamora missed an easy chance. Hughes playing right back with Hangeland and Senderos in center. 3) Poor performance by us, good performance by Wolves. Zamora sat in the stands injured? while Johnson up front trying to running after high balls. Our midfield non existent. 4) Dinpro away, they put us under pressure for most of the game on a poor pitch, but luckily their shots were most high and wide. We went for the away goal in the last 15 mins and Kasami missed an open goal chance, six yards out. the bad news was that Jon Arnie Riise picked up a bad injury early in the game. 5) Newcastle - Another good 2nd half goalkeeping performance from Krul after we were 2-0 down. Still no Zamora up front. Dempsey up front with Dembele. Kasami has had some good games but still not up to the pace of the Premier. Gecov has been sat on the bench and not come on. Riise has played well in most games, but worrying that he is now out injured. We've been linked with various fullback like Zaccardo, Luke Young, and now Grygera(sp) and numerous strikers including Cameron Jerome, Gradel, Zaha, Amuri. Rumors of Baird being sold to West Brom and offers from PSG for Dempsey. Dalla Valle has been loaned out to Dundee United. Salcido loaned to some Tigres in Mexico Stockdale loaned to Ipswich so that should bring up to date.
