I am still a member of LUST pending them backing up their statements. If they produce the players who approached them once Bates is gone, and the consortium who they were involved with, I will apologise with pleasure. Let's see what happens. But for now I think I will rather dream about Messi coming to Man City Mark II and crack open a nice Scotch to celebrate waving goodbye to Bates and Harvey. Wonder if the Leeds fans will forgive Lorimer?
I've said this before but I honestly think Lorimer's situation was created by 1. Being reliant on wages from Bates. 2. Not wanting to see his club collapse financially again. Still shouldn't be allowed back onto the board, but that's as far as it should go. Should be given the chance to redeem himself IMO.
It's our DUTY to show this forum is a zone where we support the entire club rather than just the team and strongly encourage change. We shouldn't tolerate the sort of anti-Leeds fan bullshit that has tarnished ja606 and other forums. Together we should make it our mission to eradicate this anti-Leeds fan stuff which sadly appears sometimes on OUR threads. not606: in LUST we trust!
Spot on. Just been reading some total toss on JA - that guy Eric the effing leek just gets worse. They seem to have convinced themselves LUST/demonstrators/boycotters are insane criminals.
Better trying to educate those that see it this way with facts and debate than turn on them and treat them in a non tolerable manner. I love Leeds Utd - I question LUST's approach and tactics at times. I do admit though to not having visited any other board for 2-3 months now so I can't comment on how bad things are or what is being said.
You guys would each other if you could, it is the same old faces saying the same old things. What exactly is the point? You guys are behaving just like those on JA606 but from the opposing viewpoint. The truth lies somewhere in the middle.
