...let's look at some FACTS.

In the 14 league games that Liverpool have played since Kenny took over, we have 27 points - or an average of 1.93 points per game.

If we take multiply that average by the number of games played so far this season - 34 - the result is 65.62

It can be said therefore that we should be around the 66 points mark in the league - and thus fighting hard with Chelsea for 2nd.

A few weeks ago I read that if the league had started when Kenny took over we'd be top.

Here's one.If Man United win the title, they will have done so with the lowest number of away wins since Liverpool in 1977.
As for their home form, they are 2 home wins short of equaling Chelseas 18 wins 1 draw at home. This can also be achieved. The title winning points score(80) is also the lowest in years. It could possibly be 79 if Chelsea and Arsenal beat Man United. It could come to goal difference.Chelsea are currently two goal behind.Chelsea could yet be crowned champions, but it does seem unlikely.

It would be even better if we hadn't dropped silly points against the likes of West Ham and West Brom.

Stats are stats. Reality is we're 6th and Man U are top. Lets focus on improving those facts next season, not 'ifs and buts'.
