There are alot of negative posts about Grayson so I thought I would try to do a positive one!! In his first full season we finished 2nd in League 1 and his second full season we finished 7th in the Championship!! I feel for him at the moment - are the signings he made his first choice - NO of course they aren't, his main targets didn't come because Bates wouldn't meet their clubs valuations or break his wage structure despite spending £7 million on the East Stand of a stadium that we don't own (or does Bates know something we don't)?? Add to that the injuries to our main strikers Becchio and Somma (again NOT Grayson's fault) we are left with 2 back up strikers in McCormack and Paynter. Yes the Southampton result and performance were awful but the players let Grayson, themselves and most importantly the FANS down on Saturday!! We had some bad performances last season (Preston, Swansea, Cardiff etc) and bounced back! Keep the faith.........MOT!!
