Just watched West Ham United vs Liverpool - and if I hadn't been any the wiser - I could have been watching a repeat of QPR in an all white kit vs Crystal Palace last season. Such was the parallel in playing style and overall appeal. A poor fare when expectations are higher. Similar to our season, Liverpool have changed their manager, have a proven coach and perceivably good players. As the talking heads opined - the manager needs to be judged on his own players, when he can build his own team - and not on his stewardship of the players he inherited. I think as supporters we can be as equally judgemental on JFH and (if Twitter sources are anything to go by) Sir Les. It made me think wider and consider how many supporters would claim to be truly happy. Here's my conclusion based on the EPL and SBC:
"Similar to our season, Liverpool have changed their manager, have a proven coach and perceivably good players. As the talking heads opined - the manager needs to be judged on his own players, when he can build his own team - and not on his stewardship of the players he inherited." Very very true. We need to give JFH time to build his own team - we do have players that appear happy to take a paycheck without putting in 100% effort - however maybe the players do not understand exactly what is expected of them.
Very interesting Sku After Boro's 2-0 win over Derby this afternoon, I suspect that fans there will be moving into the very exclusive "ecstatic" category I just hope that we don't move into the "worried" category
Actually I've just become ****ing angry, reading the FA Cup attitude. But it'll pass, as will my commitment if something doesn't happen soon.
