I know Evans has been great in Vidic's absence but we still fear that odd mistake now and then, even Ferdinand sometimes makes a odd mistake too. But Vidic who is arguably the league's best defender, when he plays we're more confident in the back and more assured. There won't be a nervy moment in the back if our captain plays. When Vidic got injured against Basel and when news came out he's out for the season, i got scared of our season how we going to cope with losing the league's best defender for the season. Thank god Rio Ferdinand stayed away from injury, his experience really helped us this season and his defending has been superb, people have been praising Evans ( who has also been great) they forget about Ferdinand's great defending at times. I miss Rio and Vidic's partnership because them both knows how they play and when ever they play together our defense looks strong as rock. made a mistake on the title, i forgot to take the " we're" away.
