It has been reported Fiorentina have entered the chase to sign highly-rated Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko, as they look to beat off interest form the Premier League. Sissoko is out of contract in June and his current club are resigned to losing him, with Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Sunderland all linked with him in recent days. Toulouse, mindful that the 23-year-old can leave for free at the end of the season, are willing to cash in during the January transfer window. Fiorentina are believed to have submitted a bid for the France international, who has eight caps, but it is not yet known whether they have met Toulouseâs £6.6m asking price. (TalkSport) All three English sides are keen to do a lot of business in this monthâs window and see the player as the ideal man to come in and help with their rise up the table. And although Fiorentina have moved ahead in the race, it doesnât mean the deal is done and he could still be heading to England in the near future.
