i spend hour after hour reading through threads on here,and it great to see al fellow mackems with different views, the one statement that appears more often than not is :WE HAVE INJURED PLAYERS COMING BACK: or IF EVERYONE WAS AVAILABLE. so with the return of catts, danny etc. in an ideal world a fully fit squad, what would be your choice of first teamers, do you change from game to game, some say rotation doesnt work, on paper we have a squad that looks like it compete with the best, but what is the strongest team, all fit and well and all on form oh if bruce had such a problem. as i cant make my mind up
yes if we ever have the lux to have them all back it will be interesting trying to pick the best team to play with the quality we we will have when all fit, either way it will have to be a attacking side because of the players we have ,i dont think theres any other way we can play appart from being a bit more stronger in midfield for certain games against stronger teams or away from home muntari and catts in the middle springs to mind from what i saw of muntari yesterday they would make a good pairing and do well together ,then we have the flare players to pick this would be a hard one sess looks like he will be quality for us when he has a few games under his belt steed is quality we know this and should revell in a team playing football on the deck richardson 4 goals in three games i always thought his best pos was behind the striker if bruce plays one upfront or fullback i dont like him in the middle even though he scored from there yesterday his strength is a burst of pace from just behind the striker and he has a good shot on him then we have hendo ,elmo,in the mix so plenty to choose from in midfield, upfront picks itself gyan if one up or gyan and welbeck if two with cambell who i thought was playing great for us before his injury to battle it out with them defence we did well at the back with ned, turner,bramble,bardo,weve also got mensha if he could keep fit but i would rather have a settled back four myself if he cant keep fit, you cant get the best out of players if you keep droppig them to put someone in when they are fit now and then ,goalkeepers al leave that to bruce,players i would like to come in the summer quality centre back and centre forward plus the zog and i would be a happy man and all this could change in the summer because some of these players arnt ours but yes it would be very interesting if and thats a big if we had them all fit to choose from dont know if ive missed anyone tuff
