...... we played a team from the south called Fulham lead by Martin Jol.

Fulham were beaten by Ipswich, in the 2nd division, yesterday while we look forward to yet another season in the Premier League.

It seems like a decade ago to me, so much has happened since that first match of last season.

The 'certain' relegation, the sacking of PDC, the derby matches, the Cup Final weekend, the 2nd 'certain' relegation & the 'miracle'.

What on earth can we expect this time around?

We played well during that game, definitely deserved to have won it, maybe things would have turned out very different if we had. Its a funny game football

I'm hoping for a flying start to the season so we can get some early impetus and get the fans right behind the team..

There were so many highlights last season it's hard to pick the best one, staying up is the obvious choice, but Wembley was fantastic as were the derbies. Also signing Gus and his team comes close as well.

Pretty good season really, albeit a nerve racking one but exciting as well.

I'd back Ipswich to finish higher than Fulham this season.

Regarding us, this is the first phase in Gus' revolution. I'll be very happy with mid table and some very attractive football. Another cup run too please.

Agree with this, keep protecting the ball like it's your sack! Quietly confident down here funk <ok>

None of the 3 relegated teams won, only Cardiff managed to get a point...It's a minefield down there.
