Half-decent read here: http://eplindex.com/46303/hughton-turned-norwich.html Notable point - "Nathan Redmond has also played a huge part in Norwichâs climb up the table with his direct running and creativity. The former Birmingham man creates a clear cut chance every 186 minutes which is the third best in the league."
This seems to be statistical nonsense. Creating one clear cut chance every two games is the third best in the league; I somehow doubt that. Examining other stats based sites, he really doesn't come that high up. However, if the stat was for how many clear cut chances could have been created given the excellent position a player was in, he'd be near the top of that leaderboard.
Pretty sure EPLIndex use Opta stats, as do a lot of the stats-based sites. Granted, several of them apply their own algorithms/spin to the Opta stuff.
The last sentence sums it all up for me -"It’s refreshing to see a side do well after sticking with their manager when they could easily have sacked him. I think Norwich should secure a mid table place comfortably this season. After the start they had, that would represent a really good season for the Canaries.!!"
