Implications of too many strikers

    You guys have rvp, welbeck, rooney, the south american kid, hernandez. Do you think this is all for the best in the name of competition especially seeing as rvp is getting on and rooney occasionally plays in midfield or do you reckon it may cause disharmony in the squad. I suppose its a question of mentality and patience on the part of younger players but may backfire. Having said that do you think you would've been better off investing in other aspects of the team such as creative midfield or do you believe thats a problem that will be addressed in the near future. Of course i realize rvp and rooney are capable of playing in the hole but thats kagawas favoured position. Btw powell seems a great buy but probably not what arsenal need.

    Sir Alex has said before he likes to have four strikers and it worked out well for us before.

    Hard thing to do having four good enough quality players for two position knowing two of them are likely to be sitting on the bench more often than not. But having such competition and backup in case of injuries is well worth it.
