Camerone Jerome is to be used only as an impact playing substitute. Thats fine by me so long as he replaces Walters in the second minute.
I agree that some players are more effective as an impact sub and can see the logic of bringing him on when the game is stretched. However, there are fundemental flaws in the grand masters thinking; 1. He normally makes subs on 80 minutes plus which leaves very little time for any player to make an "impact". 2. The game is normally either lost or won whcih either negates the point of the sub or stops the sub from happening. 3. There is the arguement that you start with stronger faster players and bring slower players on when the game has slowed. 4. The starting player has to be able to work the defenders or else there are fresh enough to deal with the "impact sub". 5. The starting player has to offer something significant over the other player. 6. At a given point the impact player has to be given an opportunity to start, and not out of position or against a top 5 or 6 team away from home.
