No rotation at all, no clean sheets. We put what was close to our best side out and were made to look ordinary by the worst Liverpool team in years comprising of players that have barely hit puberty. RDM seemingly has no idea how to change it. We've had 2 of our easiest games on paper now and not won either and don't look like scoring from open play. I can't see us winning at WBA and if we lose at Juve our season is as good as done. Not knee-jerk just the reality

I think this is knee jerk.

Be very surprised if you don't beat West Brom.

we lacked the ability to kill them off and jt going off seemed to take the wind out of the team, the longer the game went you just knew that liverpool were going to score

Wouldn't our easiest games on paper be at home to Southampton and West Ham? We were also missing Luiz, Cole and Lampard plus Terry had to go off after 35 minutes.

Liverpool are game raisers against the likes of us and United, but today we had enough chances to put the game to bed when we were leading, which is what cost us. At the moment we're relying on outscoring the opposition due to our dog **** defence which isn't easy when our main striker cannot hit a barn door. We are still far away from being the finished product. I think the problems lie more with the players than with the manager, but we definitely need to bring in a very good defensive coach to sort us out at the back.

Lack of rotation is taking its toll, however, it's not a disaster. RDM will surely rest Mata or Hazard against WBA and play Marin. If he doesn't he's nuts.

    Also, we need a striker.

What do you lot make of Torres then?

    You reckon he'll be sold?

We missed Cole, Terry (most of the game) and for all his wobbly moments Luiz. We also missed a striker - this one will keep coming back to haunt us all season unless it is sorted in the WTP.

We know that we have two real Achilles heels, the lack of a striker being one and we do not have a massively strong squad a la MCFC and MUFC. For these reasons I do not think this will be our greatest season - but with Chelsea you just never know.

What is a certainty is that our attacking mid-field is the creme de la creme and the Mikel/Ramires partnership is shaping up nicely. I do wish Mikel woud stop laughing when he ***ks things up though! Irritates me.

If we sort out our front and our leaky back by next season then we should be away.

Also RDM PLEASE can we have an outfield Captain when JT/Lamps are both off the field. In no way can Czech influence the team from the goal mouth. A little thing but it all helps imo.

Also: Howard Webb was great today.

You see, that is why no one takes the majority of Chelsea "fans" seriously. You have the makings of a new team in transition, Counts Terry,Lampard,Cole are almost out. We thought Chief Count Terry got it good and proper tonight by Hitler's secret great grand son but seems it's not to be. Anyway I digress, you're a team in transition who is still challenging for all major honours, Mata misses what for him is a sitter just before the break to make it 2-0 and kill the game. You have Hazard,Mata and Oscar FFS, what would you rather have? Malouda and Kalou? Wake up FFS, I don't like you but even I have to admit you have the makings of a proper side here.

    Oh and FO You Counts!

thanks for your kind words but it does not change the fact that we could not kill them off when we should of well buried them

I agree the game definitely changed when JT went off, and I can't understand why a goalkeeper would become captain, yes he is brilliant at what he does but yes we needed someone out there pushing the same as JT does, not sure who though.
I kinda got the feeling quite early on that L'pool were going to injure someone out there today with the way they were playing, but don't think the JT injury could have been helped.
Am I the only one who thought Torres should have stayed on ?, I thought he was doing ok today, all right not scoring goals but better than he has been of late. I'm not worried yet, still a bit of sorting out to do, but would like to see Marin get out there.

Torres really is hopeless. If Chelsea had RVP or Aguero they'd score for fun.

We are missing what we have missed now for 3 seasons. A controlling midfielder and a striker.
Ramires is not the answer, he is an attacker, out and out. Torres is simply no good in the roll we ask him to play.
We buy every type of player except the ones we need. mad,mad policy.
We have an almost great team, but are not up to either of the Manchester sides.
When we get the missing links we will be fantastic. Almost there, but not quite.

We won't win the league... not at all... United are my tip as they just keep on going! We need a new striker in January really and despite all the money spent in the summer, our squad lacks in depth! Had Mata scored with that chance just before half time then I think we had the 3 points in the bag tbh but we didn't and you could tell Liverpool were going to score.

I would happily take a point at WBA tbh! They are on cracking form and though it will be a great game, it will be tough. I'm going and I see it being a 2-2 draw. I don't think we should complain that much... I mean we lost to United due to the ref, we drew at Swansea which is a credible result in tricky Welsh conditions and we drew here today against a side that recently, we have struggled against. We still have our Champions League group in our own hands so all isn't bad but we need a new striker in January and a win against WBA would be a fantastic result.

Lets not make a crisis out of a drama! We played well today, but fate played a hand a produced the wrong result! Apart from losing JT and having Lamps and Cole unavailable, the boys did well ! There we so many occasion when , on another day, we would have buried loads of those chances! Fate determined it wasn't to be!

Of course. They are young and that's what worries me. We can't afford to place all our eggs in one basket. I don't want to see Hazard or Oscar burnt out or pick up serious injury which will happen if they aren't rested.

My biggest fear is our season capitulating and RDM getting the sack with Guardiola coming in. RDM never was Roman's man but I'm desperate for him to succeed here.

We cannot afford to keep on playing the same players every week. Marin, Moses, Sturridge and Romeu must get games.

I think rooted at the bottom of all this is the pressure on Robbie to produce "pretty " football. In that he has succeeded, but that has somehow created a lack of killer instinct! Lets not forget as well that Liverpool, lifted their game far beyond anything else they've done this season!
