Since promotion to the prem in 07.

So 9 seasons in the prem, a combined best?

Straight away im struggling with a gk. First thought is Gordon but Mig was decent also.

**** im having problems with every position. I want Bent in but who else up front?

Also M'Vila gets a nod and probably Sess and Danny Rose or Alonso at l/b.

    So far i have...

    ...........gordon..........

    ...?......?.......?......rose.

    ..?....m'vila....sess....?..

    ........bent......?......

Ive set up in a 442 cos im a lazy twat to **** on with this ****ing phone.

That's harder than I thought it would be
Hadn't realised just how many crap players wed had.
Wouldn't let Gordon anywhere near the net - Mig in goal for me.
Probably Welbeck up front with Bent, make room somewhere for Zenden and Steed
There's only Bardlsey comes to mind for right back and as for centre halfs, that really is a struggle
Opted for our 2 new ones - Kaboul and Kone
More because they haven't had a proper chance to make a mess of things yet

Its not that easy. Straight away over half your team is the old bruce team.

    RB is knacky.

    Not far wrong there
    I would stick with gordon
Unfortunately can't have sess and steed
So would go for Henderson instead of steed
    Difficult dessisions

If we had Defoe in the team, who would be the best option with him?

    Gordon
    Bardo Mensah O'shea Alonso
    Cana
    Mvilla Henderson
    Steed. Sess
    Bent

Imo the strongest team to be made, not necessarily the best 11 players

Mignolet had a great season here, but isn't showing much higher than bottom six standard. Gordon looks the better bet to me. Bardsley for his reliability plus a few goals and Alonso on the other side. Central Defence - right now, I'd say Mensah and Kone. Cana and M'Vila in front of them. Wide, I'm going to annoy people here and dip into the future when I hope Deandre Yedlin will stop touting himself as a full back and use his phenomenal pace and crossing accuracy on the RW with Kharzri on the other side. Up front - Bent and Gyan because I feel Bent and Defoe might be after the same balls and, of those two, I'd prefer Bent every time. So -

    Gordon,
    Bardsley, Mensah, Kone, Alonso.
    Cana, M'Vila.
    Yedlin, Gyan, Bent, Kharzri

(I'd certainly consider Henderson now, but in his time at Sunderland, no.)

Bent wouldn't get near my side in today's game. Niether would Yedlin :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Gordon
    Hutton----Mensah----O'Shea----Alonso
    Cana---------M'Vila
    Bolo
    Sess----------------Steed
    Gyan

I wouldn't argue, Vince. Good shouts.. I just feel Sess and M'Vila might be too similar and get under each other's feet, like Bent and Defoe. Same with several others. We've maybe 18-20 players to pick from and only 11 places for them. Your choice is as good as mine. :emoticon-0148-yes:.

Well as a full back I agree with you. But he has blistering pace, and can cross the ball well. I'd like to see him change positions altogether. I think he'd make a very effective winger. We've done it before - let's face it, Dave Watson was hardly the best centre forward I'd ever seen.

You wouldn't consider Henderson in relation to his time at SAFC yet you put Yedlin right wing even though he's never played there on the basis that he's quick - logical.
