So much fuss has been made of Fernandes v Warnock in the past 24 hours but both men have been seen in person on TV and London Calling, TF saying he didn't say it and NW saying he knew TF wouldn't say it and he was a good bloke. Yet the media, including that F**kwit Alan Brazil are still banging on about it this morning. Brazil even said this morning "Who really owns QPR? I've heard some serious chinese whispers about who really owns that club." It does my head in!! They say and print what they want without any punishment after it's clear what they said was total bollocks.
It's the other side of the coin to when in late Summer 2011 they were getting all excited about how qpr were going to be the "next big thing". They build you up, so they can knock you down. It's the stock treatment for people and institutions who suddenly come into the limelight. I agree it is a loathsome practise. It is further evidence of the execrable state of the British press (and many broadcast media too). Having said that many of you joined in the euphoria of the positive articles; you just dislike the negative ones. In truth, there is/was probably similar amounts of bollox in all of them.
