I cant help but look back at the games V Blackpool & Palace and think... What if or where we would be now in the table had we took points against these two at home !!! Palace more so.

Agree with this. I was thinking at 2-2 in the Watford game that if we could sneak a winner and get a win against such a difficult anti-football side that we really would be in for a good season. Obviously that happened but I really think if we can get results against West Ham and Southampton then we have absolutely nothing to fear. The other sides up there have nothing to be frightened of.
I know after the Blackpool, Leeds and Crippled Alice results things were not looking too good but since then we have looked bloody invincible. It's one thing to hit a bit of good form but this feels different. These young kids are growing in confidence every week and with Waghorn, Cam Stewart, Garcia and Oily all coming back soon thats one hell of a squad in my opinion. Now I know Hull folks love to be pessimistic but sooner or later you gotta start to believe and with the attitude amongst the players the talent and enthusiasm thats showing through we are easily in the top four clubs in this division now. I said this morning that if city got 3 points today that would make us serious top two candidates and we did it, so I'm starting to belive that this could be our greatest season ever. Well done NP on such a small budget you have impressed the hell out of me. UP THE TIIGGGEEEERRRRRRSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
As it stands right now, I don't think we are good enough for top 2. Even taking into account what Cam and Garce can bring to the party. If you look at who we've played, we have played 4 of the bottom 5 and only one of the top 5. We need to score more goals and we need to pad out our squad. Address these issues and we CAN make the top 2, fail and we will have top be satisfied with the lottery of the play-offs.
