I've never been a Bruce hater and I'm certainly not one now, but there comes a point surely in a mulitmillion pound business that is seemingly making little progress despite increasing investment year on year, when the owner will eventually ask some steely questions. I've alwas liked Bruce, but this latest spanking has really got under my skin, especially as them lot up the road with no teeth and a penchant for street corner drinking, are seeing their newly promoted team who have had nowt to spend, score goal after goal, despite selling their lanky plank Andy Carroll. I'm actually thinking how much progress are we making under Bruce? So someone investing millions in the club like Ellis Short must be secretly atleast be asking the same question. I was so angry today at the final whistle, that if the club announced Bruse was out and Martin O Neil was in, then it would have pleased me no end.
Played right into the mags fans hands there but fair play, it's a question that needs to be asked. We are coming along, though it doesn't seem like it at the moment. Remember when we had the likes of a passed it Phil Babb, Danny Collins as a star player, Mickey Gray in the playoff final. We're a long way off that, commercially and in football terms. Managerial wise... I'm not sure at all. Great with transfers but getting results?
I made a point, many posts ago, that you've spent a fortune with next to no real progression. Why? Simple really, Steve Bruce is an undercover agent, hired by Mike Ashley to bring your club down from the inside. We've been telling you all year but nobody is listening.
Nobody is listening because it's idiocy. If you want to slate Steve Bruce call him incompetent. The undercover agent talk is tiring.
