Who is left for us to sign?. Crouch is reported to have said hes "not very keen to join stoke" and that we have made a 5 million quid offer for Jerome. I know I know lets wait until the transfer window is closed but I really dont see whos left who will improve our squad. Maybe he has left this window a little too late. we need to sign 5 good players I think (but that wont happen now surely?) Looks like Palacious will have to be one hell of a player!!! UTPssssss
Just posted similar concerns on the 'Crouch/Palacious' thread, Ricc. Where/Who are the 4-5 players Pulis so desparately needs? (His words). We may get signings who may not improve what we've got but they would provide numbers which we are currently short on.

If Crouch is after riduculous money then b******s to him. If Rodellega IS on his way out of Wigan we should be directing him down the M6 to the Potteries - he would be ideal. 23.59 tomorrow it will all be over....... or will it?

Spot on otter. Happy that Crouch is going elsewhere. Overrated, old, too expensive and didn't want to come to Stoke anyway. No brainer. Now gents, let me ask you this one question, at what stage in last seasons summer transfer fun did we hear that we had signed Pennant? Was he on anyone's radar in terms of a possible signing? You all damn well know that this will go down to the wire for a number of Prem teams and not just for Stoke. Greed dictates that players and their parasitic agents will hang on to the bitter end for the best deal they can get and to hell with the rest of us. Me, I am hoping that we will at least land Palacios, Bendtner and Rodallega plus ano that I probably did not see coming.
