This season has been the most fun for about 9 years.

I love all the backbiting, the scandal, the crap, the panic, the rubbish, the comings the goings, this is what I grew up with at cafc and what I want, madness, and as long as we don't get relegated this will be a banner year at cafc. Makes that petty promotion two seasons ago in that pub league seem like a 5th place win in the pub raffle

All we need one is for our ground to be sold.....

I had a brief chat with Peter Varney before the match, but I can't actually remember what was said. Thrilling, eh?

I am looking forward to the fancy dress party on the last day of the season at Blackpool.

I am going as Alf Garnett, so look out for me.

I know where you are coming from, but I don't think I can do many more nights like last night. God knows what we were doing on both of their goals - I'd never gotten so angry at a game than when they scored the second. And at the end when we gave it away befor the big fella missed.

    This is old time Charlton.

I am really enjoying this season, No mid table security for me, no season over by xmas, I like the pressure, not knowing from one day to the next what is happening, I don't care what is happening in the boardroom, (and from reading the accounts posted recently I don't understand what's going on in the boardroom) our team yesterday reminded me of the crap we used to put out in the 80's, real titans of the game like Les 40 'a day' Berry, Terry 'Bad breath' Bullivant, SkidMark Aizlewood and Paul Williams.

I can see this being a last day job with as many as 8 teams looking at the trapdoor. I really hope we are not safe by then. I would like to lose but still not get relegated, beating Millwall on Goal difference.

As for me, I might go to Blackpool dressed as Simon Church. At least I would get a parking space close to the ground.
