Yes, thats right, I'm embarrassed. Not with my team, with some of you lot.

The reason?

For needlessly bringing up the Suarez case (wrongly, in many peoples responses) to try and claw back some aspect of revenge from the defeat to Liverpool. And bringing up football tragedies too? Completely uncalled for. The Suarez case has been dealt with and had no relevance to the match played this weekend. I don't like the guy - I think he cheats, a lot - but he didn't cheat against us on Saturday and I didn't like what he did with Patrice Evra but it was PROVEN he is not a racist - he made a racist 'comment' and was punished, correctly in my view. So we don't need to drag something up which actually never affected our own club or the match in question. Let's take the defeat on the chin and applaud what was a masterclass in finishing by the Uruguayan. Possibly the best hattrick the Premier League has ever seen <ok>

Also, Suarez' hattrick was easily the best I've seen from an opposition player at Carrow Road. Also that third goal is also up there with the best goals I've seen from an opposition player at Carrow Road. The first two goals were great finishes as well.
 
I agree with you Supers and nicely put, thumbs up! however just to say that "some" of it MAY have been due to the usual lazy 6 finger/web feet comments that certain quarters seem to trot out whenever they feel like it. There was an interesting article I was reading the other day that was along the lines of how far do regional stereotypes have to go before they effectively become nationalised "racism"

great point rich. i realise there was blame from one or two liverpool posters too but really, some of the responses beggared belief. none of us like the stereotypical norfolk jibes, though i think we can all see through them as the lame comeback that they are - people who use them generally have a lack of brain power.

Totally agree mate and - once again - I was thinking about writing a very similar post myself only for you to beat me to it!

I wasn't able to make the game this week and don't have ESPN so watched it down the local boozer and I have to say I was embarrassed to hear the level of abuse throughout the game and even more so when he got booed off after being substituted. I clapped him off and would have done had I been at the game despite the fact I agree with the majority that he's a pretty unpleasant individual off the pitch. I don't care what you think about the guy or what he's been accused of, that was a world class performance with unbelievable goals and you should feel honoured to have witnessed it and paid your respects in as much as not making yourselves (and us) look rather pathetic by booing off a guy who had just performed a striking masterclass.

I saw a classic response to the 6 finger jibe aimed at one of ours on the QPR forum!

Battersea's response was, "I can only count three, but some may be hidden in my sister!"

One of their fans brought up Hillsborough not our fans the way their fan threw out their accusation was disgusting, personally I'm not having that.
 
I'm with Supers on this. I am as green and yellow as anyone on here but felt privileged to watch a world class striker on top form playing at at my club (just as Aguero and Tevez had done a fortnight ago). Accept things for what they are and recognise some of the the best talent in world football when it is on view in your own back yard.
