    Nah not me.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

But Lee Cattermole..Walking the tight rope.

Well he was always going to get banned at some point of the season.

LEE CATTERMOLE will gladly accept a game in the stands if Sunderland can get back to winning ways at Crystal Palace.

Black Cats midfielder Cattermole is walking a disciplinary tightrope after collecting a fourth yellow card of the season in last weekend’s defeat to Arsenal.

If Cattermole collects a fifth booking before the amnesty cut-off point of December 31, then he will receive a subsequent one-match suspension as punishment.

But the 27-year-old insists the possibility of an imminent ban hanging over him will not faze him at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

“It’s something I’ve thought about in the last week since the game,” said Cattermole.

“But it’s difficult now. You get yellow cards for nothing.

    “If it comes, it comes.

“But my concern is the team. If I was to get booked on Monday night and we win, I’ll happily sit out one game.

“I might go 10 games without a booking, you never know!”

Watched City v Newcastle in the cup and the United v Chelsea game at the weekend... Saw at least ten fouls which went with no card that would comfortably have seen Catts booked. (The Haidara one last night was a disgrace and would probably have seen Catts sent off). Would love there to be a level playing field but there simply isn't. He's cleaned up his act and is turning into a very good footballer but refs still label him as they did 7 years ago. Nothing has changed in their eyes and, most of the time, a Cattermole foul is a booking whereas Gerrard is allowed 10 of them before he gets a yellow

Spot on Marcus, I feel for the lad as he's done wonders improving his temperament and overall games and refs can ruin a game with their "ill show you" attitude.

I couldn't believe Haidara got away with that one, I don't think he even got booked? The ref was ****e overall though, he missed a forearm smash on Abied and a penalty on Obertan.

When Mangala elbowed that toon player I thought of you Marcus <laugh> I thought you'd be screaming at the tele that "Catts would have been sent off for that". The Haidara tackle was a bit cheap, wasn't a red though, looked far worse than it was after seeing the replay. Catts probably would have been sent off for it though. City got away with 3 red cards, Aguero and Kolarov should have both been sent off.

See Silva got injured, that's a big help. Toure looks appalling this season, he'll no doubt come good against us though. He doesn't want to be there at City, it's blatantly obvious.

Tell you what, I didn't see that kind of team performance coming from your lot in a million years.

Tell you what mate, after Spurs and City away wins I doubt Liverpool on current form will be looking forward to the game. If Pardew picks the right side your run could easily go on.

The team spirit was there, you could see that after the match. Was nice to see Obertan enjoying his football as well.

Seriously, this whole stupid ****ing frenzy this week has been farcical. the 1,000 smug thread was ****ing hilarious in places and I agree with comm, it was just a bit of fun. Now Smug's return is conditional on Sid stepping down and becoming a mod?

    WTF is this ****?

^^^ on top of that we've leaked ten goals in two games with nil return, meanwhile Newcastle have started winning games

    So we're all a bit huffy :)
