    Hearing rumours guys that we should brace ourselves for a couple of busy days behind the scenes for us and apparently there is rumours of Iker Munain!! I would love to get him but surely we'd be looking to pay atleast 25mill for him, it would make my summer if this becomes true as i believe he is quality ... I realise its just rumours guys so not getting too excited but thought i'd post it incase it does become reality and therefore will make me look good :smile:

    Also very funny moment in trying to find out more news on this, on wikipedia it says his current club is Liverpool FC <doh> .... classic wikipedia!

    I read that we had a big accepted actually ( SSN I think) but people " in the know" rebuffed it.

    Would be sick, our future RM/RF could be Muniain and Sterling? tasty.

    I would love that! Going to be interesting to see how much football Sterling gets in pre-season, might give us a little clue on how much Rodgers plans to use him! Hope he impresses.

    indeed sterling needs to show something this preseason and many others too. if we are going to recover and not slip further i feel that our youth must come through and deliver a "golden generation"

    Coady, Robinson and wisdom at the back, suso and steling on the wings, perhaps roberts, teixeira, ibe, pelosi... n'goo and morgan. If we can get some through and reduce the outlay in senior players to buying 2 or 3 really good players rather than hoping to get 5-6 gap fillers we have some chance.

    Maxi is gone and so is kuyt, but no wingers have been bought. this has to lead us to beleive 4-3-3 is indeed the intent so sterling must prove he can play in that wide forward channel rather than really out wide.

    Sterling must be braver than walcott for example who hides out on the wing waiting for a ball to be carried and given to him on a plate.

    But, I doubt it.

    I know there were reports that Bielsa resigned but then these statements were then later retracted?....

    He will not sign for #lfc, don't get our hopes up. We don't have champions league and Bilbao are an upcoming team which will do very well in La liga over the next few seasons
