The man is a complete and utter tosser - some of his horse racing articles have been completely beyond contmept. One said that a horse deserved to die in the Grand National as it wasn't very good FFS. He's supposed to be funny but, to quote the late great Les Dawson, if laughter is infectious this bloke has found the cure. I feel a bit sorry for you really as the madness starts now. I had not really appreciated what promotion would be like but the difference in media exposure between the championship and premier league is enormous. I suppose you lot are more used to it though!

But that article isn't meant to be taken seriously is it? The writer is deliberately setting himself up as a fool throughout, and (just in case any one hadn't 'got it' by the end), 'admits' it in the final paragraph.
Forget him, I can promise you he´s said enough in that one article (which I hope Alex Neil copies from somewhere and hangs up at Colney) to almost ensure he and the team will manage Premier League survival next year.
It's all a joke isn't it? I wouldn't take it too seriously - he's just trying to be funny. It's not particularly amusing, although I did find "the bad news for boss Alex Neil is he has two Christian names and that didn't work out well for Steve Bruce" made me smile. It's the ones where they are deliberately trying to aggravate that are annoying

Oh I'm not saying it's in good taste, it's certainly not. But I don't think he's actually trying to upset people, unlike the professional trolls like Katie Hopkins, he just thinks he's quite amusing.
There is something of the 'troll' about the article though, the 'six fingered' jibe got in early followed by a load of nonsense, the self-depreciating last paragraph gives it away though, it's not to be taken too seriously... Doesn't surprise me that they're biting on Twitter though...
True - something of the troll, but he's so obviously joking I don't think I put it in the same category of the trolls who are offensive just to get a rise. I'm not sure this guy was actually fishing, but clearly has got bites. He's winning though as I imagine it's getting lots of hits to the website.
