I was shocked to see Nikki Bull's omission from the league 2 team of the year, I can't help but think they thought "Chesterfield are top, lets give their keeper the prize no matter who he is". Nikki Bull's kept us in so many games, and has been able to keep many clean sheets even though he has had a substandard defence in front of him for vast parts of the season. Outrageous decision.

I was very surprised Nikki Bull wasn't the league 2 keeper of the year, I was even more shocked to see our very own Damian Batt at right back

bully played superb at oxford and kept us in the game but he has done that all season,he is like having a 25 goal striker in the team the amount of points he has helpud us to get this season.

Yes it was Batt at right back. To be fair to him he has improved a lot throughout the season. Great going foward but always a bit suspect at the back

Just a thought, with it being a PFA award isn't it the players themselves that vote?

In my opinion Bull is definately the best visiting keeper we've seen all season, although our keeper, Ryan Clarke, must also have been up there with the nominations. A true fans favourite, I reckon he'll win our player of the year award just like he did last season

These awards can't be taken seriously at all. The absence of Bull is quite frankly laughable. Also strange that the team with the best defensive record have no representation in the defence yet a plodder like Branston gets in the side.

Hey, lets not be disheartened about Bully. The more he is out of the limelight, the less likely we are to lose him to a bigger / higher club.
Sad as it may seem, i'm sure some clubs in Div 1 or the Championship look at these teams of the year and put people on their shopping list

Chesterfield are most probably going to win the league and they have been praising their keeper Lee throughout the season. I don't think Bull's performances, and the amount of times he has saved us points, would have been studied closely enough or else Bull must have won that position, he has been our player of the season by about 200 miles.
And based on our game away at Oxford how did Batt make it at right back?! Ok, he had pace and looked dangerous attacking-wise, but looked very shaky defensively (not that i am complaining much because he jumped under Betsy's cross and allowed JPP to control and volley home!)

After watching Tommy Lee save Chesterfield time and time again yesterday I have to say I'm a lot less surprised he was voted league 2 keeper of the season, a very decent keeper actually, even though he probably has the worst hair cut in the division
