    The next 3 games are
Wigan A If we get a draw here I will be well pleased

    Blackpool H 3 points hopefully

    Huddersfield H Another 3 points,

This should put us in a respectable league position.
I do hope kit or whoever may be in charge, does not tinker with experimental team formations,
players out of position etc, bad results at the above matches will put a dent in the teams recent confidence.
The defensive line up against Derby was a disaster, ok youth may not have the ability, but one
does expect a much higher level of fitness, the last 15min most of them were knackered.

I know what you mean Ros. When you are chasing the ball all the time it is energy sapping.

Considering mad-Felix's regime the players do not have the stamina to last 90 mins...

I agree on expectations but a lot will depend on who will be the manager!! Kit with an experienced assistant is the best choice. He will help him avoid poor decisions like yesterday's...

Well kit is the manager, so starting with Wigan lets hope the players play their
socks off for him. I would love a draw, but have an awful feeling that Wigan will
be up for this one and will pull out all the stops. ( hope not but 3 ~ 1 to Wigan, is my prediction ).

If Kit wants to concentrate on the league, considering the team selection against Derby, I would want 3 points. Wigan are a good side and had a great result against Derby. It will be tough but do-able.

    The month of November:

    Wigan v Fulham
    Fulham v Blackpool
    Fulham v Huddersfield
    Brentford v Fulham
    Brighton v Fulham

    So games against teams currently in 19th, 24th, 17th, 13th & 21st.

It will be a big challenge (Wigan especially are, like us, a team whose league position belies the talent in their squad) but those are all games we should be targeting points from. I'd be a little disappointed with fewer than 9 points.

Maximum points are certainly possible, but Huddersfield are a bit like us: their position in the table doesn't reflect their recent form. Chris Powell is having a similar effect to Kit, so it's a harder game than it might seem. Lee Clark may have a similar effect on Blackpool, but it's too early to say whether or not he actually will! I think there's a chance of six points, but they'll be hard-earned if we get them.

Form for the last six matches
    • Bournemouth +15
    • Huddersfield +12
    • Fulham +11
    • M’boro +11
    • Blackburn +11

So I agree that Huddersfield could be interesting..... A possibilty of 2 wins & 2 draws or maybe just 3 wins; anything less than 8 points would be disappointing. Although Kit is still playing with the Crazy German's sqaud.

And we play Brighton twice over a short period, so that's 6-5 on aggregate based on yesterday's scores.

    COYW!

Indeed, Huddersfield spanked Forest 3-0 yesterday, so that game is by no means a gimme.

Must agree Bidley, They are on a roll lately. My hope is that our team is not overconfident
and the manager does not experiment or tinker unnecessarily, that also goes for the Blackpool game,
we still need points on the board.
