Ifollow thoughts so far

Anyone using this new player replacement, if so, what are your thoughts?

Live stream but without commentary. I tried running the commentary on a separate laptop but when I started the audio, the stream stopped a few seconds after and vice versa. I was too busy at work to test it further. I believe you can cancel your sub within 14 days so I'll see how it goes next week.
It was still good to be able to see the game, you could only hear the crowd.

 

No, I continued with the seasonal monthly, as advised by an eventual real EFL staff on the phone. If I cant get f....ing radio, and unlike your goodself, here in the UK we dont get .livestream....so what year do we live in, 1817?!

So, as I come to France quite a bit - our holiday home/rental, I try tuning in to dear old BBC Suffolk radio......sorry, no license to non-UK listeners.

I am truly...f...ked, so take up a bit of fishing instead!

And of course miss our 1st (and only?!) exciting goal of the season!!

 

SD, did the stream work ok, no buffering etc?
Can live without commentary, half the time they talk **** anyway!

 

From what I saw, and I was busy and didn't get to see much, it was a good quality HD stream. Really had to crank the volume to hear the crowd noise and then the half time interval music came on super loud.
I watched some matches like this a couple of seasons ago and I liked it. Concentrate on the game and form my views on what I see.

Not sure it's really worth the price hike but hopefully I'm off or slow at work next week so I can check out the next one in full. I want to see if I can get the audio from a different source but it didn't work yesterday. I did notice it was a bit behind the stream for the few seconds that both were running at the same time.

Are you saying that the live match streaming is not available in the UK or am I reading your post wrong?

 

Just read your post about no commentary, gaffer.
You have to go to the Matches tab and then fixture list to get to the match centre

Took me a little bit to find it because it wasn't in the iFollow section of the home site, where you would obviously expect to find it

 

What I understand from the website/ITFC is that the live stream is only available to those overseas presently. Imagine something to do with Sky & BBC rights & agreements. But, thanks for signposting me to the commentary. Bleeding obvious aint it! Who do they hire to design these websites?

I chased phone calls and a helpful & embarrassed lady put me thru to a 2nd or 3rd line - EFL digital another flipping call centre type - and unmanned and not answering calls...2 days later I got a call back and the advice. I will stick with it pro tem, but totally underwhelmed! My basic maths tells me they are making a killing, say 20 clubs in each league, average perhaps 1000 supporters in UK & overseas subscribing.....bloody hell mate, we are in the wrong business! I doubt the prem has contracted them tho.

 

Cheers for the info guys, will check it out. I will however, make sure there is that 14 day money back option, just in case we are as ****e as last season!

Correction, Radio Suffolk just stopped but iFollow audio has just started.

 

Got to watch the whole match today.
Stream is ok, not crystal clear HD but definitely watchable with no buffering issues. The feed is taken from one camera, positioned on the halfway line and there are no replays at all.
I still don't think it's worth the price but I'm happy I can watch matches. I haven't checked out firstrowsports to see if these matches are available there now though.

 

SD, i watch firstrow thru sportsdevil on kodi and not on there.

I was thinking it may be available now because of the iFollow stream but haven't checked it out yet.

Thanks for the updates fellas. I shall get on with ifngfollow for time being. Been away in France and missed every report on Barnsley game! Great result, thin squad now, lovely hearing McG on swan again, til next week!

I am trying to be in the feel good about ITFC zone, but tbh, the old cynic in me and the whole Money circus, ME,MM and the idiotic wages these players command...ok, I will get off my hobby Suffolk Punch. horse!

If we win at the Den, then I really will sit up, scratch me balls, and enthuse again!

 

SD, this is beyond the bleedin joke! I am subscribed to ifollow, go to Matches, Fixtures hoping to either listen to commentary or watch a livestream, but nowt, just a window saying choose yr option......Any advice mate?!
