We shouldnt really make a decision on that untill at least mid October, to see how all the newbies have settled in. Ive learnt not to get too cocky, and excited over Newcastle's signings in the transfer windows. Too many of them have turned out to be total ****e, after the excitement around them.

 

To be honest, Im not fussed by the players that have gone out SO FAR. Yes, fair enough, when Nolan left I was disappointed. Although,that was mainly down to losing an inspirational figure in the changing room. However looking at the midfield we have now, he probably wouldnt have got into the team. So, in hindsight. It was for the best that he left, because if he wasnt playing regular football. He'd have gone from being a good thing in the changing rooms, to a fecking nuisnance.

 

I'd still like 3 more players in and ad be happy with the summer;

Pieters - Sign him either way if Jose stays or goes. Ad say we will get him for around £3m.
Bassong - Better than Williamson and can cover a CB and LB, and can replace Colo when we sell him next summer. Would only cost about £4m.
And a striker we all know the names flying around at this stage anyone half decent will do!

 

if we replace what we get rid off and have a bigger stronger sqaud yes, but as has been mentioned, dont judge incomings till they have settled in!!

Aye, good transfer window, well better than Januarys, still need a striker and defensive cover but all in all what has come in looks to have replaced what has been lost, again though wait until october to see how all the new signings are looking!

With the money we (should) have we could maybe get a quality RB but im not to fussed this window, maybe next year if Simmo doesn't improve.
