...and I know it's a big if, but IF Leicester manage to win the title, then I would suggest it's the best thing EVER to have happened during the Premier League era.

It would completely blow away the notion that we've all felt for years now, namely that the title can only be won by a small handful of elite clubs.

Leicester winning it would strike a blow for every ****er, and my God, how we need them to do it.

They're the Corbyn of top flight football.

If there's ever been a occasion to use the term "one man team" this could be the time!

Nonsense. They are the embodiment of the team ethic. They were still winning while Vardy was out injured.

Good for the PL...however the usual suspects have been absolutely ****e this season....Spurs above Arsenal in the league now for example.

I'm not having a go at them! If they do it? It's a great achievement! But If you take him out? Different story!

There was also Blackburn, another unlikely winner although they were a top team 90 odd years ago.

But when he was out injured they didn't play like a mid table side.

    Absolutely.

And despite what people say they have not been a one man team. Ignoring the contributions of players such as Mahrez, Kante, Fuchs and Schmeichel among others is just stupid.

Only 5 clubs have won the premiership since its inception back in '92. One of those clubs, Blackburn, are highly unlikely to ever win it again. Man City have won it twice thanks to having owners so rich they can play fantasy football for real. IF Leicester win the league it will keep alive the dream that every team has a chance of winning the title. If it isn't Leicester, I hope the title goes to Tottenham.

I would say it would be a bigger thing than Blackburn winning it. I know all teams have big money backers these days, but they had Jack Walker back then, who pumped more money in than most other clubs received.

    Totally agree.
Man City have a ridiculous amount of money.
£40 million a year stadium sponsorship + stadium expansion to get around FFP.
I would be extremely happy if they could hang in there itd be great.
Liecester City and Hull City both champs would be magnificent!!!
