....and, let's pretend you had total control, a billionaire approached you looking to invest... What offer would you give him for the money? And for how much money? Would you be prepared to sell the club wholesale rewarding the shareholders? If so for what price. Would you offer him a stake in the club? If so how big a cut would you offer for how much money?
Unles the billionaire brought added value in terms of internationalizing our brand and building a channel to generate revenue in overseas markets I wouldn't dilute ownership and control. My understanding is we don't need money at the moment, there is no need for financing. What we do need are strategic alliances to assist in expanding / building additional revenue streams for the future.
It may be usefull to have a rich sugar daddy on board to help stop us losing key members of the club every summer. But no loans or other debts off them beyond our means and no power to them to try changing our clubs identity will be tollerated.
If I had that kind of money you could expect to see me lining up for the Swans tomorrow, centre-midfield, no. 8...then having fulfilled a dream, I would **** off into the sunset with my harem...leaving Huw in charge with a lorry load of cash
