On to Merseyside then..... Your choices are Liverpool Tranmere Rovers (included to give a little bit of choice despite being relegated recently) Everton My choice would be Everton. I never liked Liverpools 'mustn't lose at any cost' attitude from all those years ago when they beat us 1-0 at the Gate in the FA Cup 6th round and proceeded to pass the ball back to Ray Clemence from the Half Way line for the majority of the match. Beating them at Anfield under Souness was sweet revenge.
Not bothered by either of these. Both like and dislike bits about them. Both had some heros and villains for me over the years. Whilst they do play in blue, Everton just have the edge on this one.
Liverpool, passionate fans and the odd champions league win. Even thought things slip from time to time
If you asked me when I was younger I would have said Liverpool but I have to say their 'its always us' whining has grated on me over the years -- Went to the 1984 FA cup final and enjoyed being in with the Everton fans, very humorous. So Everton..
Liverpool, got some good friends there, and get past the sterotypes I like scousers in general, not so very different from Bristol.
Liverpool, met Emlyn Hughes, John Toshack Steve Highway and Kevin Keegan at various openings. Strange that as a youngster I can recall them doing openings but no one else?
True, but did they do openings at fates and shops over there? They seemed to be over here a few times but I can't remember any other player from other teams?
