If you could select just one player from QPRs past, go back in a time machine to when he was at the top of his game, then bring him back for this season ... who would you choose and why?

Bowles? Thomas? Macca? Ferdinand? or even Vinny Jones!

    (Yes, I'm bored waiting too!)

Phil Parkes or David Seaman. Goalkeepers rarely get the glory but it's highly unusual for a successful team not to have a very good one. These two played a huge part in keeping QPR near the very top of the English game for many years. I will reserve judgement on Green but its highly unlikely he will dominate his area the way these two did.

Stan Bowles. At the top of his game he was one of the very best in the World.

I'd bring back Paul Furlong - strangely at his peak in his 30s and I'd love to see Flyer's reaction.... :emoticon-0116-evilg

Hmm, I don't think you can't go too far back, the modern game has changed a lot and i'm not sure many players would fit in, although keepers would stand a chance.

With that in mind I'd go for Sir Les....Dull I know.

:emoticon-0148-yes: It's a close one with Rodney but, yes, I'd go with Stan.

Can't agree with the beginning of this post, Vale. Great players are great players. That's it. Of course they'd fit in. Anyway, Phil Parkes please.

The reason i picked him Northy was not because of sentiment but because the question mentioned "this season and why"
Well IMO we need a big strong CB who will add leadership and experience to our back 4. Simple answer, big Mac.
We all ready have a few decent forwards and midfielders. We are short a top CB.
