But fancy a bit of atmosphere .... The hotly anticipated Tyne-Wear derby is to be screened live at the Stadium of Light. The game, which takes place on Sunday 4 March, is to be shown in the stadium's popular Sports Bar. Black Cats fans can enjoy all the pre-match build up and banter in the company of SAFC Ambassador Jimmy Montgomery, who'll take part in a question and answer session as the excitement mounts before the big kick-off. Doors will open at 9am, with breakfast/brunch - from breakfast baps to full English - available to purchase between 9:30am and 11:30am. Kick-off is 12noon and the bar is open until 3pm. Tickets, which are priced at £3, including a complimentary bottle of beer, glass of wine or soft drink on arrival, can be purchased from the Stadium of Light ticket office. A free prize draw, with the chance to win for a pair of VIP tickets to Sunderland AFC v QPR, will also take place on the day. Alternatively upgrade to the Durham Suite for an additional £7 (£10 in total) to include drink on arrival and full English Breakfast buffet. This option guarantees you a seat and table to watch the game in style. Sunderland's allocation of just under 3,000 tickets for the trip to the Sports Direct Arena is sold out.
