my first post on this board, found it to be really good so far.

If we bought all the players mentioned on 606 and ja606 and not606 by Arsenal fans to strengthen the team and we won nothing this year or next, and Wenger was forced out due to the lack of success, would you still love Arsenal.

If some one else took over from Wenger and we went another 2 -3 years with out winning any thing, would you still love Arsenal.

If we dumped the youth policy altogether and only went for 25+ year old players who play a sterile form of football like Man City, would you still love Arsenal.

At what point do you stop loving your team? At what point does your loyalty shift else where?

i have felt in recent seasons that Arsenal have really tested my loyalty. The team has made me feel estatic yet let me down on so many occasions. I feel like a house wife who's criminal and abusive husband is always locked up, yet i cant let go because he is the one!

In summery i will always love Arsenal. As a fan i sit and wait for decisions to be made by the club for the club and apart from my infrequant rant on message boards i cannot actually do any thing about it.

So i have made a commitment to stick by Arsenal what every tragedy and humiliation befalls us.

    What is your opinion? :afro:

    However i should add.

If we kept our squad and added:

    Manuel Neuer
    Neven Subotic
    Karim Benzema

I think we would be considerably stronger than both United and Chelsea.

    To the OP...

I can absolutely assure you that, as long as you Gooners continue to win nothing, I will always love you <ok>

    That's a promise!

I really can't believe this thread........ Plastic is a phrase that immediately comes to mind.

Are you honestly saying that a series of events could make you stop supporting your team?

MOST teams NEVER win anything - My team went to Wembley for the first time in an FA Cup final this year after more than a hundred years of trying.

Stoke fans don't get to choose who they support, the club chooses them and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

It seems that this is not the case everywhere.

Would you still support Arsenal if they dropped down a few divisions and flirted with receivership?

I love Spurs so much that, if I had to, I'd throw myself in front of a burger van if I saw Fat Joe making another pig of himself.

Anything for the team I love.
