How far would those of you with such resentment for Ashley go to forgiving him? Would anyone start to look the at plan he has enforced in a different light?

Why would we forgive him if we won a cup?

    That's ridiculous.

It would all be down to Pardew and the players' performances if we were to win some silverware.

Ashley needs to die and as soon as possible.

I can see what you're saying, and I'm sure we'd get a statement for Derick the Dick basically telling us that all Ashley's hard work and struggles have paid off and all his decisions have been vindicated.

I'll forgive him when he stops using our club and stadium as a sketchbook and stops making ridiculous decisions!

To be honest we might as well stop moaning about Ashley and get rid of all the negative **** that surrounds the club.

his plan's good in principle, he's just a complete twat about it, and with poor decisions at every turn along the way

  9. I've said this many times before -

Ashley aint the reason we got relegated, but he's done nothing to help us succeed, and shown no real interest in the fans or players in any way, so he will get no credit what so ever for anything the club achieves.

The players and the manager the reason we win things, along with the support from the fans. <ok>

You winning a cup would represent an epic fail by Agent Ashley. And how smug would Pardew be? I can hardly bear his smirking as it is...

Throwing up a hypothetical situation let's say this season we finish top 10 and win a cup. No one believes that coupled with the feel good factor that would be surrounding the place that peoples opinions of the regime would begin to differ? You can give all thanks to the players, managers et al but at the end of the day the team bringing that success has been built under this regime.

NB: I am no Ashley fanboy, i was just wondering how exactly people felt ATM. I am in two minds. We have players with a bright future, finances looking more stable than they have for years and most importantly an unbeaten team spirit on our hands. If this potential did for arguments sake turn into silverware I may start to buy into what is being implemented.

  14. We got relegated because we had dead wood and disinterested mercenaries in the squad.

Maybe if we had kept Milner and KK we would have stayed up?

Ashley was at fault for KK leaving when we were on the up.

Remember we had drawn at Old Trafford , beat Bolton and lost to Arsenal.

    Decent start.

When KK left it all went downhill with players and fans losing patience.

Sure the deadwood is a reason , but we could have stayed up had Keegan stayed.
