What players would you have from the current bottom three If they drop?

    Fulham:
    Hangeland
Sidwell (hes a level above the outgoing trio of colback Larsson and gardner)
Rodellega (if cheap and if we move on fletcher and Graham)
(Easy to see why they're struggling now, looking at their side)

    Norwich:
    Bassong
    Hoolahan
    Fer
    Hooper

    Cardiff:
    Caulker
    Noone
Campbell (would have him back in a heartbeat, great attitude and can get goals) think he'd be a good replacement for Borini when he goes back to Liverpool)

Slim pickings??? Or have some slipped my mind?

If we went down id expect Johnson and Giaccherini would be high on people's lists. Maybe whoever comes up in the playoffs might look at the likes of oshea brown fletcher mannone from the players still in contract.

Dejagah at Fulham is a good winger, as is Snodgrass at Norwich.

I'd probably take Heitinga as well.

I wouldnt sign anyone from relegated clubs, we have made that mistake before, these are the players that get their respective clubs relegated, why would we sign them?
We need to move on from signing this type of player in my opinion.

If we stay up, I would like us to restart talks with Larsson and Colback. Larsson who is getting better and better under Poyet (and I have never thought he was that bad a player) and Colback who I think could be brought on by Poyet to be more attack minded - in our win over Newcastle and yesterday's win, Colback was great when making forward runs imo.

I'd take Campbell back as I never understood why he was sold, but don't see of the others mentioned as a significant improvement on what we have.

I agree to a point, but I think our issue has been signing the wrong ones.

You can have a very good player have a very good season in a poor side, that doesn't mean he wouldn't be an asset.

The biggest example this season is Caulker who has been superb, an individual can't carry a team.

Realistically, I'd want Caulker, I'd accept a couple more.

Larsson got better and better when MON took over and look what happened. If we can't learn from our own mistakes then we deserve everything we get why it bites us on the arse...again.

Individuals don't relegate a club - the team does.

If we go down it will not be down to one player, it will be down to all of them - same at Fulham, Norwich, West Brom, Cardiff etc.

FWIW - I'd have Caulker - didn't look too good yesterday but was given a hard time with what happened in the game and the ref making a very good decision.

I always thought Campbell was a decent player - just his injury record cost him his place with us - and Martin O'Neill being a little stupid - but why we sold him for £600k and signed Danny Graham for £5m I have no idea!

West Brom and Villa are certainly not out of it yet either.

Gus is the only person I want to see put pen to paper on a long term deal. After that I don't really care because I'd trust his judgement on whoever signed for us.
