........ we'll do all right. In fact, once things settle down and the players get used to each other we'll see some great football. I'm down Bournemouth, from Friday 'til Monday and looking forward to it. Yeah we lost yesterday but it was a good game to watch and only lost when our legs went. No one could've complained if we'd won that game.
We need to keep in touch at the moment, move up the table mid season and have a great second half, a cup run to lift the roof would be nice, onwards and upwards.
As above. Just nerd to keep the points ticking over until we're at full fitness. Saw a side yesterday who could have a very good season. If we can get somewhere around mid table and improve again next season could be the best we've seen for years.
I think the last 3 seasons is the main reason we aren't all in major panic mode right now. We SHOULD all be fearing the worst but thankfully most people on here are remarkably upbeat considering our current position! We are that experienced in supporting a struggling team and we know that somehow we always find a way of staying up...but it's vital we get that 1st win against Bournemouth. We haven't even played any of the top sides yet...
We are a point better off than a couple of seasons ago, have better players, better set up, better manager. We are going in the right direction.
We were poor AGAIN in the second half, defoe seemed to delibrity miss that shot, even Graham would have scored and still no improvement from last season. It beggars belief these people mainly like Gomez saying we will climb up the table when he knows he is talking bull, how under Short can this be happening ?, the warning was there and yet no big money spent, well Smiths bites the dust in December and come next may Christ knows are many people working for SAFC will cop it, while the lazy get footballers will be o k. This town is becoming a **** hole.
Monty is obviously one of the Mag posters taking the piss. I have a feeling which one but can't be certain..
Yeah I think we'll be fine too. Fitness is a worry though, hope we can get caught up as it's costing points at the moment no doubt.
Whilst I agree with every word - how many times, after a rousing performance and a narrow defeat against one of the bigger sides, have we said the same? Even against the same size sides (Newcastle!) - I hear it every season "If we play like... we'll be OK" and then we play more like we did against Norwich!! Hopefully that's gone and we will play more games like yesterday and less like Norwich!
