Ok this isnt a thread discussing the transfer, but position of M'Vila and where he fits in. I have seen some suggest is we do get M'Vila, which isnt guaranteed at the moment, then we should drop M'Bia back into the CB position alongside Hill (when RN leaves). Tbh im not so sure with that. It draws parallels with the situation of David Luiz at the scum. He is better in CM, and I think likewise with M'Bia. I just think he is a bit rash to play CB where you need to be disciplined and concentrate for the full ninety minutes. Could we play M'Bia and M'Vila? Obviously this discussion could be redundant if we dont sign him!
Mbia is fast but I wouldn't let him play as a CB. He misses footballing brain and you can't bee good CB without one. Sometimes positioning and reading the game is much more important than pace.
Long term, I think Onuoha will be centre-half. Mbia is wasted there IMO. If we sign M'vila, which I don't think will happen, there is room for both. We need to ship out a midfielder though- preferably the useless Park.
